Canadian-incorporated SME, fewer than 500 employees, working on technology with genuine innovation or technical uncertainty.

First-time applicants typically receive $75K-$200K. Established relationships can access $500K+.

Up to $10,000 Per Employee for Tech Training

What It Is

Government covers the cost of training your employees on new technology. Up to $10K per person ($15K if hiring unemployed).

What It Covers

CRM training, cybersecurity awareness, cloud platform training, automation tools, data analytics, any tech upskilling.

Who Qualifies

ANY Ontario employer. Government covers up to 83% of training costs for small businesses (<100 employees). Your cost on a $10K program: just $1,667.

How Much

$10,000 per employee, no limit on number of employees trained. Hiring unemployed? Government covers 100%.

How It Works with SYSinfo

We deliver the training as an approved external provider. Government reimburses up to 83% of the cost for small businesses. Your share on a $10,000 program is just $1,667.

Important: If SYSinfo implements your software, COJG cannot fund basic training on that same software. Training must be on third-party platforms or advanced topics.

Who Qualifies

Ontario-based SMEs seeking to modernize their digital capabilities.

How It Works

50% cost-share model. Client pays upfront, government reimburses 50% upon project completion.

Canadian SME, $100K-$100M revenue, fewer than 500 employees, targeting NEW export markets.

50% cost-share. Government covers half of eligible expenses up to $50,000.

What It Is

The federal SR&ED credit (35%) plus Ontario OITC (8%) lets you recover up to 43% of qualifying R&D expenditures. Refundable means you get cash even if you owe no tax.

What It Covers

Software development, product engineering, technical problem-solving, prototype development - any work involving scientific or technological uncertainty.

Any Canadian corporation doing qualifying R&D.

35% federal + 8% provincial = 43% recovery on up to $3M of eligible spend.

Government Covers 50-100% of Wages When You Hire Tech Talent

Hire tech interns or recent graduates and the government covers most or all of their wages. These are the easiest subsidies to access - broad eligibility, fast approval, and real talent for your projects.

SYSinfo hires co-op students as part of our delivery team. When we build your technology solution, a junior consultant from our team works alongside you. Government subsidizes 50-70% of their wages through programs like ICTC WIL Digital and TECHNATION Career Ready - savings we pass on to you.

ICTC WIL Digital

OPEN - Deadline July 15, 2026
Up to $7,000 Per Tech Intern

What It Is

Government reimburses up to 70% of wages when you hire a post-secondary tech student. Covers software dev, data analytics, digital marketing, CRM, cybersecurity roles.

Who Qualifies

Any Canadian business offering digital economy placements. Student must be full-time Canadian post-secondary (citizen/PR).

Best for: Any business that needs tech help but can't afford full-time hires

Digital Skills for Youth (DS4Y)

OPEN - Deadline April 15, 2026
Up to $30,000 Per Graduate Hire

What It Is

Covers the FULL salary of a recent graduate for 6 months in a digital role. The most generous wage subsidy program available.

Who Qualifies

Employers with 500 or fewer employees. Graduate must be 15-30, underemployed or unemployed, citizen/PR.

Best for: Businesses that need a junior developer, analyst, or IT support person

TECHNATION Career Ready

LAUNCHING SOON - Summer 2026
Up to $7,000 Per Student Placement

What It Is

Same structure as ICTC WIL Digital. Covers 50-70% of wages for tech student placements.

Who Qualifies

Canadian businesses and nonprofits (excluding large financial institutions).

Bonus: Ontario Co-op Education Tax Credit provides an additional $3,000 per student placement. This is stackable on top of the wage subsidies above.
